Each site will be looked at in the context of the other information we provide and will only be added if it is considered to be of sufficient quality and relevance. We do not accept link requests for marketing purposes, or about events where the county council is not directly involved. We also do not accept link requests for commercial or political organisations.

Link suggestions should also meet the standards laid out in the Code of Recommended Practice on Local Authority Publicity, and not conflict with the Constitution of Suffolk County Council.

  1. Suffolk Registration Service hold intellectual copyright of this database of wedding information. Information taken from the site, including details of companies listed and editorial content cannot be copied without the expressed permission of Suffolk Registration Service, nor can it be used for any commercial purpose. All images, text and videos on this web site are protected by copyright.
  2. Suffolk Registration Service cannot be held responsible for the temporary unavailability of all or parts of the site due to faults or updates. You acknowledge that it is technically impossible to provide the Site free of faults and that we do not undertake to do so; that faults may lead to the temporary unavailability of the Site; and that the operation of the Site may be adversely affected by conditions and performances outside our control, including, without limitation, transmission and telecommunications links between us and you and between us and other systems and networks. We may make changes in the site at any time.
  3. No Warranty. We make no warranties or representations, whether express or implied, in relation to the Site or the Content, including but not limited to implied warranties or conditions of completeness, accuracy, satisfactory quality and fitness for a particular purpose. Additional conditions for businesses using this site.

  1. Suffolk Registration Service reserve the right to remove any wording, images or business details or links to external websites that we consider inappropriate for any reason and at our own discretion.
  2. Ownership and sharing of images: Businesses are responsible for ensuring they have the correct copyright, licences or permissions for images or videos uploaded to the site and should credit where appropriate. Suffolk Registration Service does not accept responsibility for copyright infringement on business listings. In adding images or videos to their listings, businesses understand and accept that those images or videos may be re-posted elsewhere specifically for the purpose of promoting that business.
  3. Copyright watermarks. Any images showing a copyright watermark from a company other than that posting it may be removed without notice.
  4. Third Parties. Suffolk Registration Service are not a party to or in any way responsible for transactions between you and third parties.
  5. Advertising third parties. Each advert may only represent the company named on the advert. Third party advertising whether through text, photo credits, video advertising or links is not permitted.
  6. Change of details. You are responsible for updating your advertisement via email if you have any changes to your contact details, and ensuring that your web and email links are correct.
